Good recognition of the dairy cattle in the milking parlor is essential. The milking parlor is the place where the farmer sees the cow the most. However, it is difficult to recognize the animal properly via the ear number, collar or butt number. Since the ban on cold marks, recognisability at the rear of the cow has disappeared. With the numbered leg straps this problem is a thing of the past.
The LegTags are provided with a special layer so that dirt and manure do not adhere and the numbers remain readable. Fresh manure sometimes wants to stay in place, but as soon as it dries up, it falls off the band and the number is visible again. The leg strap is made of a strong material, comparable to a seat belt. The numbers on the strap are covered by a coating layer that is pressed onto the tape. This makes the LegTag of high quality and lasts a long time. The buckle makes it easy to attach the strap in the milking parlor.
The LegTags are produced to order, so they are available with any number.
At the checkout there is possibly to upload the cow numbers.
Benefits:
- Recognition improved;
- External personnel learn to recognize cows faster;

Finding cows more easily in the barn:
In addition to the milking parlor, the animals are also better visible in the barn. It is recommended to attach the straps to the same leg, all left or all right. When the cows are standing in the feeding fence, cows are easy to recognize by the LegTag.

THE LEGTAG
1. The band
The band is made from the same material as a seatbelt in a car. So super robust and long lasting. On top of this band there is printed a number which is covered with a special nano coating. The coating ensures the number stays clean and readable.
2. The buckle
The buckle is a 5 cm heigh and 5 cm wide heavy duty buckle. Which is easy to attach but doesn’t open so easy. Therefore cows don’t loose the LegTag.
